The 61st annual Dectomax Shorthorn National Sale was conducted online in 2020 and topped at $32,000 for bulls and $8000 for females. 55 of 60 bulls sold for an $8236 average (up from $6740 in 2019), while four of five females sold to average $5125.
The $32,000 sale-topper Nagol Park YM Picasso P124 was purchased by the Loane family of Dunroan Shorthorns, La Trobe, Tas.
The sale-topping white bull came from Roger and Niaomi Evans, Nagol Park Shorthorns, Tamworth – by Yamburgan Monkira M23 and out of Nagol Park FL Romance J189. The Evans family averaged $14,000 across their three bulls.
