After 18 years of exhibiting at the Dubbo National, Calrossy Anglican School, Tamworth, took home their first broad ribbon. Their 21-month-old bull Kamilaroi Tyrone T22 – by Yamburgan Zeus M499 and out of the school’s home-bred Kamilaroi Anna Marie P20 – was sashed junior champion led bull and then grand champion by judges Sophie and Spencer Morgan, The Grove Shorthorns, Condamine, Qld.
The school’s students selected the bull, broke him in and prepared him for the show, with senior students attending in person and younger students following the live-stream at home. Staff credited the result to the team effort behind it.
